We’ve all heard of how criticism, passive aggressive behavior, and negativity lead to toxic relationships, but did you know that these are actually part of a trauma-based response to perceived threat of getting abandoned? This episode, we talk all about the Outer Critic.

I only recently understood how alienating my outer critic actually is to those around me. Part of my most recent work has been to understand how to integrate repair practices into my marriage to offset some of the damage that has been done by these vicious outer critic attacks. My goal is for you to get these kinds of attacks under better control so that you can truly understand what your partner is (or is not) capable of in terms of relational healing.
